This Privacy Policy describes how Siafy Teknoloji ("Siafy", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Fastive mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Who we are
Fastive is operated by Siafy Teknoloji. The app is available on iOS and Android under the bundle identifier app.siafy.fastive.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited device/technical data.
Account and identity
- Anonymous use: On first launch, Fastive may create an anonymous account linked to a random user identifier.
- Registered account (optional): If you add an email and password, we store your email address and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed; we never store plain-text passwords).
- Session tokens are stored securely on your device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
Profile and onboarding data
When you complete onboarding or update your profile, we may collect: display name, fasting goal, gender and age range, experience level, selected fasting plan, height, weight, target weight, birth year, unit preferences, daily water goal, time zone, privacy consent timestamp, and optional marketing consent.
Fasting and wellness data
- Fasting sessions: plan, start/end times, duration, status, optional notes
- Weight entries: weight, measurement date, source, optional notes
- Water entries: amount and timestamp
- Meal entries: meal type, size, description, optional photo, AI-generated estimates
Meal photos
Photos are uploaded to private cloud storage (Supabase Storage). They are stored under your user ID, are not publicly accessible, and signed URLs expire after approximately one hour. Photos are deleted when your registered account is deleted.
Health platform data (optional)
If you enable Health Sync — Apple Health (iOS): reads body weight and step count, writes completed fasting sessions. Health Connect (Android): reads weight and steps, writes exercise/fasting sessions. You must opt in and grant OS-level permissions.
Device motion and activity
With your permission, Fastive may use motion/pedometer data to estimate step counts. This data is processed on-device and is not sold to third parties.
App settings
Notification preferences, theme and language preference, health sync enabled/disabled.
Subscription and purchase data
Subscription status, expiration date, and RevenueCat customer identifier. Payment card and billing details are processed by Apple or Google — we do not receive your full payment card number.
Analytics (optional, consent-based)
If you accept privacy terms during onboarding, we may send pseudonymous usage events (app init, onboarding steps, fast/meal/water logs, paywall views, purchases). If you do not consent, analytics events are not transmitted. We do not use analytics for cross-app advertising.
Local device storage
Fastive stores a copy of fasting, weight, water, and meal data in a local SQLite database for offline use. Auth tokens are stored in secure storage.
How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the Service (timers, logging, sync, notifications, Live Activity)
- Personalize your experience (plan, units, language, goals)
- Process AI meal photo analysis and return nutritional estimates
- Manage subscriptions and Premium access via RevenueCat
- Sync optional health data with Apple Health or Health Connect
- Send local notifications you have enabled
- Improve reliability, fix bugs, and understand feature usage (with consent)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
AI meal analysis
When you scan a meal photo:
- The image is uploaded to our secure storage or sent to our backend function.
- Our server sends the image to Google Gemini for analysis.
- The model returns estimated calories, macronutrients, food description, and fast-breaking flag.
- Results are saved to your meal log.
AI outputs are estimates only, not medical or nutritional advice. Images are processed by Google as a sub-processor. Free and Premium users are currently limited to one AI meal scan per UTC calendar day.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — to provide the Service you request
- Consent — for optional analytics, marketing emails, health sync, notifications, and AI photo analysis
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve functionality
You may withdraw consent at any time through in-app settings or by contacting us.
Data retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data while your account exists and as needed to provide the Service.
- Registered account deletion: When you delete your account in Settings, we delete your auth user, cloud database records, and meal photos.
- Anonymous accounts: Cannot be deleted through the in-app delete flow. Data remains associated with the anonymous ID until routine cleanup.
- Local device data: Data in on-device SQLite may remain until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, export your data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
In-app controls:
- Edit profile and logs within the app
- Disable notifications and health sync in Settings
- Delete account — Settings → Delete Account (registered accounts only)
- Restore purchases via Settings or Paywall
- Cancel subscriptions via Apple App Store or Google Play

Children's privacy
Fastive is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International data transfers
Our infrastructure providers (including Supabase and Google) may process data in the United States, European Union, and other countries. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including:
- HTTPS encryption in transit
- Row-level security on cloud databases
- Private storage for meal photos with access controls
- Secure credential storage on device
- Authentication tokens for API access
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password if you register with email.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
